Man with a machete arrested after altercation in Dartmouth

At approximately 9:45 pm Halifax Police responded to the 100 block of Best Street in Dartmouth to the report of an altercation involving two men at this location. One of the men was reported to be in possession of a machete. Members responded and arrested a 35 year old man who will be attending court today charged with multiple weapons offences, property damage, and threats. The men were known to each other and there were no significant injuries during this incident.
