March Break Camps Halifax – 2017


The following are select day camps and workshops in HRM spanning the March Break week from Monday March 13-Friday March 17. Links are provided for more information and to register. We are crossing our fingers that your #1 choice is not already full!
ACADEMIC
March Break Camp at Halifax Learning. Ages 6-12 in partnership with Mad Science. Camps will be held in Halifax and Bedford Monday-Friday 8:30-3.
THEATRE
-The Neptune Theatre has a variety of workshops and camps over the break.
-Upstage Studios offers a March Break Theatre Camp held at the Dartmouth Players Theater that results in a performance of the Wizard of Oz on Friday at 4. Regular camp hours are Monday-Friday, 9-4, it’s for ages 8+ and the session costs $170.
TECH
-Video Game Design with Artech Camps: Dig, Mine, Build & Battle for ages 7-10 AND Game On! Take it to the Next Level for ages 7-12 AND Mario Minecraft Remix for ages 8-14. These Video Game Design Camps offered at the Shambhala School are from Monday-Friday, 9-4 and cost $349.
-The New Discovery Centre has a couple camps in its brand new Waterfront location.
REC/ACTIVE
-There’s a bunch of day camps offered through Halifax Rec. Check page 46 of their Fall/Winter Guide.
Camps at Dalplex: Climbing Camp for ages 6-12, Monday-Friday, 9-4 and costs $265 for members, $295 for non-members, and Tigers Basketball Camp for ages 8-15, Monday-Friday, 9-4:30, and costs $230 for members, $250 for non-members.
DANCE
March Break Dance Camp with Maritime Dance Academy. Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm. Ages 5+ $199+tax, 9:00am-12:00pm Ages 3-4 $99+tax.
March Break Camp! With Halifax Dance is Monday-Friday, 9-4:30 and costs $215.
ART
4Cats Arts has creative sessions, workshops, and camps for all ages and they’re filling up fast!
March Break Art Classes at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Check out their variety of activities and a week long session of half-day camps for many ages and mediums.
