Tuesday, March 23, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Market Street will be closed for the next two weeks between Sackville and Prince streets.
Crews will be on site each day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. installing underground services. There will be a full street closure while work is underway. Work is expected to conclude by Friday, June 2.
Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.
Access to all local businesses will be maintained at all times. Sidewalks will remain open during the closure.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this necessary work is undertaken.
