“Out of an abundance of caution, Mars Food Canada is conducting a voluntary withdrawal of select UNCLE BEN’S® products, FAST & FANCY® Broccoli and Cheddar and FAST & FANCY® Country Chicken flavoured rice, after learning about a possible Salmonella contamination in the seasoning pouches in these two products.

While the product is sold across Canada, this withdrawal is only affecting product sold in eastern Canada.

We are working with a limited number of impacted retailers in eastern Canada to have the product removed from store shelves. While the majority of the implicated product has been retrieved, we would like to advise customers to check any packages of UNCLE BEN’S® FAST & FANCY ® Broccoli and Cheddar and FAST & FANCY ® Country Chicken flavoured rice purchased featuring any of the lot codes listed below. Withdrawn product should not be consumed.
