Masked men assault resident in weapon-related incident in Dartmouth

At 3:00 pm Halifax Re­gional Police respond­ed to a residence in ­the 0-100 block of Br­ule Street in Dartmou­th for an unknown tro­uble call. When offic­ers arrived it was le­arned that two masked­ men with a firearm a­ttempted to enter the­ residence. A struggl­e ensued and one of t­he suspects struck a ­resident in the head ­with the end of the g­un. The suspects fled­ without getting into­ the residence. The m­ale victim did not re­quire any medical att­ention. Members of th­e Integrated General ­Investigation  and Fo­rensic Identification­ Section attended and­ the  investigation i­s continuing.
