Last month Regional Council approved Halifax’s new brand strategy, including its visual identity and logo. Mayor Savage will raise a flag Friday, bearing the new logo, officially launching the rollout of the brand and the opening of Grand Parade for the summer season.

 

Visitors to Grand Parade will also notice new banners with Halifax’s logo and the return of the colourful picnic tables and Adirondack chairs.

 

Variations of the logo will be implemented on transit buses, signage and other areas in the coming weeks and months. The exterior of City Hall will also be lit in the brand colours starting at dusk on Friday.
