The Dartmouth Meals on Wheels program is designed to provide a hot, nutritious noontime meal to those who have difficulty preparing adequate meals for themselves.
Meals on Wheels recipients not only receive a freshly cooked, hot meal three days a week, they also benefit from the social interaction with the volunteers.
Meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays between 11:15 and 12:30 PM. Meals are $7.50 with a one-time set up fee of $5.00. Billing is done monthly. There are no age restrictions to participate in this program.
If you or someone you know is interested in signing up for Meals on Wheels, please call the Dartmouth Seniors Service Centre at 902-465-5578.
