Halifax District RCMP is inviting media to attend an unveiling of a plaque at RCMP Lower Sackville Detachment in honour of Moncton's fallen Mounties. What: HRM Councillor Steve Craig will unveil a plaque that was recently installed outside of the Lower Sackville RCMP Detachment.

Halifax District RCMP is inviting media to attend an unveiling of a plaque at RCMP Lower Sackville Detachment in honour of Moncton’s fallen Mounties.

What: HRM Councillor Steve Craig will unveil a plaque that was recently installed outside of the Lower Sackville RCMP Detachment.

The plaque sits in front of three red maple trees planted this summer in honour of the three RCMP officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in June 2014.

When: Friday, December 5th, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Where: RCMP Lower Sackville Detachment, 711 Old Sackville Road, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Who: Insp. Martin Marin, Officer in Charge of Operations, Halifax District RCMP, will act as emcee, RCMP chaplain Rev. Dr. Armstrong-Whitehouse will say a prayer, HRM Councillor Steve Craig will unveil the plaque & C/Supt. Roland Wells, Officer in Charge of Halifax District RCMP will provide brief remarks.
