Message from Coucillor Tim Outhit on Paper Mill Dam

Bedford residents – a number of you have inquired about the long-discussed upgrades and repairs to the Paper Mill Dam. Well, I am pleased to report that the Annapolis Group will be carrying out this work on their Dam next spring and summer.

This good news also provides HRM with a great opportunity to conduct repairs and enhancements to its walkways, walls, stairs, etc. The lake will have to be lowered, so this work will affect swimming programs next summer. I will keep you advised.
