Metro Transit bus rear-ended, male flees the scene

Motor Vehicle Accident: At 3:15 pm members of the Halifax regional Police responded to a call of a motor vehicle accident involving a passenger vehicle and a Metro Transit bus. Reports at the scene indicate that a mini van type of vehicle rear ended the Metro Transit bus on Bayers Rd. The van then pulled  off on to a side street where one males jumped out of the van and fled the area.  There were no injuries reported from the bus.
