Starting August 30, Halifax Metro Transit will be upgrading 3 more routes to be served with Accessible Low-Floor buses.
- Route 1 (SPRING GARDEN) – Main stops are at Mumford, Bayers Road, Spring Garden, Scotia Square and Dartmouth Sportsplex.
- Route 17 (SAINT MARYS) – Main stops are at Lacewood, Fairview, Bayers Road, Saint Mary’s University, and Scotia Square.
- Route 18 (UNIVERSITIES) – Main stops are at Lacewood, Mount Saint Vincent, Fairview, and Saint Mary’s University.
With these 3 new routes, Metro Transit will have a total of 28 routes (including ferries) offering this service.
