Middle schools in historic video competition to win trip to Banff

Two local middle schools are competing with schools across Canada to win a trip to Banff National Park. They’ve created videos for a Parks Canada competition that reminds me of the “Heritage Minutes” series…although, oh lord, I think these guys would be too young to remember those.
Rockingstone Heights School submitted “Out of the Shadows: Citadel Hill,” which tells the story of the Halifax explosion.
Elizabeth Sutherland School submitted “Marconi: la pere de la communication sans fill,” about the first wireless message sent from Table Head, Glace Bay, to England.
Both are very creative. You can vote for your favourite video here. Public voting ends February 21st.
