RCMP officers from Middleton detachment are at the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash in Wilmot, Annapolis County. At approximately 1:20 p.m., a motorist called 911 to report a motorcycle had gone off the road and had crashed into a power pole.

No other vehicles were involved. Police and mbulance from Middleton and Kingston Fire Department are currently on scene.

The motorcycle driver, a 62-year-old male from Halifax, was pronounced dead at the scene. An RCMP traffic analyst is on scene while the investigation is continuing.
