Millbrook RCMP arrest man for attempted armed robbery, Millbrook, N.S.

Millbrook RCMP have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with an attempted armed robbery that occurred on Willow Street on Saturday evening. On Sunday evening at approximately 7 p.m.

Millbrook RCMP have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with an attempted armed robbery that occurred on Willow Street on Saturday evening.

On Sunday evening at approximately 7 p.m.

, Millbrook RCMP received a complaint of an attempted armed robbery that occurred at a gaming establishment on Saturday evening. Preliminary investigation determined that a lone man entered the business wearing black clothing and a motorcycle helmet and produced a knife. He demanded money but after a short conversation with the clerk, the suspect exited the business without money.

On Monday August 11th, Brian Dean Martin of Millbrook, was arrested without incident. He is currently in custody and is facing several Criminal Code charges including Attempted Robbery, Wearing a Disguise during and Offence and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public. A bail hearing is set for today at Truro Provincial Court. The investigation is continuing.
