Millbrook RCMP have arrested a 19-year-old man in relation to an incident where a 17-year-old man was run over by a vehicle last evening.
At approximately 8:05 p.m.
last evening, Lower Sackville RCMP received a 911 call from a Hilltop Drive residence indicating that a pedestrian/vehicle collision had occurred at an unknown location. RCMP and Emergency Health Services attended the residence and found a 17-year-old man who sustained severe injuries as a result of being run over by an unknown vehicle. The victim was rushed to the QEII Hospital in Halifax.
Subsequent investigation determined that the victim and suspect had been involved in an altercation in Millbrook which led to the victim being run over several times by a vehicle in Millbrook. The suspect was arrested without incident at his residence in Onslow, Nova Scotia. He has been remanded into custody.
