Millbrook RCMP investigate armed robbery, Millbrook, N.S.

Millbrook is investigating an armed robbery that occurred earlier this morning.

At 5:30 a.m. this morning, a male armed with a firearm or imitation firearm entered the Abenaki Variety Store with a female accomplice.

The male suspect ordered the lone employee to open the till while pointing the firearm at him. The suspect then pushed the employee aside and took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect also demanded cigarettes and the employee complied by putting the cartons of cigarettes on the counter for the suspect who handed them to his accomplice to put in a duffle bag. The suspects fled in a small unidentified motor vehicle.

The male suspect is described as approximately 6’1′ tall, slim build, wearing camouflage jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers with a white bottom. The female suspect is approximately 5’4′ tall, wearing a dark jacket with a white crest on her left breast pocket, dark pants and is carrying a ‘GoodLife’ duffle bag. Both suspects had their faces covered.
