Millbrook suspicious death ruled a homicide, two people charged

Nova Scotia RCMP has charged two people in relation to ‎the suspicious death of a 46-year-old man in Millbrook First Nation on April 1.

Just after 3:30 a.m. on April 1, a 911 call was received from Willow St. in Millbrook. The victim was not breathing and was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Kevin Brian Sylliboy, a 25-year-old man from Millbrook, is charged with Second Degree Murder. Grace Marie Scott, 35-year-old woman from Truro, is charged with an Accessory After the Fact to Murder. Both remain in custody and will appear in Truro Provincial Court on April 3 at 9:30 a.m.

Police do not believe this to be a random act.

Several locations have been searched as part of the ongoing investigation, which is being led by RCMP Northeast Nova Major Crimes Unit with assistance from Millbrook RCMP, the RCMP Police Dog Service, RCMP Forensic Identification Services and Truro Police Service.
