NOTE: The following is a message from Labour and Advanced Education Minister Kelly Regan.
As we celebrate Labour Day, I want to take this opportunity to recognize, honour and celebrate Nova Scotia workers from Yarmouth to Glace Bay and all points between.
We’re fortunate to have deep roots that support a culture and work ethic we can be proud of.
Hard-working Nova Scotians have long been the backbone of our province.
I want to thank all workers throughout our province and recognize the unions, associations and employers that support them. We must continue to work together to promote and provide safe and healthy work environments.
I hope many of you will be able to enjoy the holiday and celebrate it with family, friends and co-workers.
