NOTE: The following is a message from Labour and Advanced Education Minister Labi Kousoulis.
As we head into Labour Day weekend, I welcome this opportunity to commemorate the hard-working Nova Scotians who contribute to our province’s communities and economy each and every day.
It’s an occasion to recognize, honour and celebrate the workers across our province, and our efforts to promote and provide safe and healthy workplaces.
Nova Scotia is a province that thrives on the strong work ethic of workers and the collaboration between employers, unions, and associations that support them.
Together, we are contributing to our province’s economic growth that will create opportunity for all Nova Scotians.
I wish all Nova Scotians a safe, happy Labour Day weekend, and thank you for your contributions to our province. I hope you will be able to enjoy the holiday and take this time to celebrate with family and friends.
