(Found) Missing boater: Help us locate Burpee Leslie Banks

Update: The RCMP located the body of Burpee Leslie Banks, who had been missing since Friday, April 13, 2018.
At approximately 5:20 p.m. this evening the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team located the body of Burpee Banks in the water at Cloud Lake, Annapolis County, N.S.

Last evening at 6:59
p.m., Annapolis County and Kings District RCMP responded to Cloud Lake
after a concerned citizen reported seeing an abandoned boat in the water
at Cloud Lake, located south-east of Torbrook, N.S.

After a preliminary investigation RCMP determined the boat belongs to
67-year-old Burpee Leslie Banks. He is described as a white male, 6 feet
tall and weighs 170 lbs, with green eyes and black and grey hair.

A search of the lake and surrounding areas began overnight and RCMP is
being assisted by Nictaux, Kingston and Middleton Fire Departments and
Annapolis Ground Search and Rescue and Valley Ground Search and Rescue
(GSAR) teams. Additional GSAR teams will be attending the area this
morning.

RCMP are would like to speak with anyone who was travelling on Fire
Lane, in the Cloud Lake area, or those who were boating on Cloud Lake on
Friday, April 13, 2018.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Burpee Banks or may have
seen him is asked to call Annapolis County District RCMP at
