Missing Child – Police Seek Public’s Help

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing child.

Three year-old Mary Johns was last seen playing outside of her grandparents’ home on Inverness Avenue in Halifax today at 3:15 p.m. Officers believe she may be on foot but haven’t been able to locate her.

Mary is described as a white girl, 2’8”, with long blonde hair passed her waist. She was last seen wearing a pink Mickey Mouse dress with polka dots and she is believed to be barefoot.

There is no information to suggest that Mary has met with foul play, however police are concerned for her well-being due to her very young age. Officers request that anyone with information on her whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
