Searchers have located the body of 62-year-old James Bell who was reported missing from his Prospect Rd. home on January 4.

Shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday, members of Kings District RCMP and Valley Search and Rescue located Mr. Bells body just off Aylesford Rd., near the Dodge and Durling Rd.

Foul play is not suspected. However the investigation is continuing. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death.

The RCMP would like to extend our appreciation to all of the support agencies and volunteers who worked during this search. The RCMP would also like to thank the public for their assistance and shares and retweets on social media.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr. Bell during this very difficult time.
