Dieter “Frank” Winter, 64, of Brandee’s Lane has not been seen since February 5, and was reported missing on February 11. He is known to walk and hike extensively in the area.

Local volunteer Ground Search and Rescue was called out to assist, and an RCMP Air Services was called to the area as well. The lake and shoreline near Winter’s home was searched with negative results.

On February 12, the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team assisted in the search and were not able to dive due to ice conditions on the lake. The ground search continued through February 13 with negative results.
