Update:  Missing person located

The 74-year-old person​ who was reported missing from Kings County​ on August​ 27 has been located and is safe.

Kings​ County​ RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance as well as the Department of Lands and Forestry and various Search and Rescue units that assisted with the search.

Missing person: Help the RCMP find Robert Phillip Palmer

​Robert Phillip Palmer has not been heard from since yesterday at 4 p.m. Police and his family are concerned for his safety.​ Robert Phillip Palmer left the Halifax area to go fishing on the North Mountain in Kings County.​ His vehicle has been located on McNally Road in East Margaretsville, Kings County.

Robert Phillip Palmer is a 74-year-old white man and described as 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds. Palmer has​ grey hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a taupe jacket, a multi-coloured (greys and purples)​ long sleeve polo shirt, a straw hat and green rubber boots.
