A Kentville youth who was reported missing on April 23, 2018 has been located and is safe.

Kings District RCMP is asking for public assistance to locate 14-year-old Makaela Westhaver.

Westhaver was last seen on April 20 in Kentville. She is white, approximately 5-foot-1 and approximately 112 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. She was least seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, brown boots and possibly wearing glasses. She may betraveling between Halifax, Bridgewater and the Annapolis Valley.
