Police continue to request the public’s assistance in locating a missing 40-year-old Dartmouth woman.
Kopo Heather Blakata was last in contact with her family, who live outside of the province, in August 2019. Her family contacted police last month to request a wellbeing check as it is unusual for Kopo to be out of contact for an extended period of time. Investigators have been unable to locate her and are asking anyone who has information on Kopo’s whereabouts or has been in contact with her to contact police.
Kopo is described as a black woman, 5’4”, 135 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair.
There is no information to suggest that Kopo has met with foul play, however, her family and police are concerned for her wellbeing.
Police are asking Kopo or anyone with information about her whereabouts to call police at 902-490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
