Missing youth – police seek public’s help

UPDATE: The Halifax Regional Police would like to inform the media and the public that at approx. 8:15 PM Amber Rose Dowell was located safe and sound.
Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Vice Unit are seeking the public’s help locating a missing Dartmouth youth.
Fourteen-year-old Amber Rose Dowell was reported missing to police on May 13 and was last seen at 3:26 p.m. on May 15 in the area of Wyse Road in Dartmouth. She is described as a white female, 5’4″, 110 lbs., with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes and her lips, nose and ears are pierced. She is believed to still be in the Metro area.
There is no evidence to suggest that Amber has met with foul play but there is a recent concern for her well-being. Officers request that Amber or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls police at 490-5016.
