Damage from post-tropical storm Arthur is being repaired and most provincial parks are open with operations almost back to normal.

Blomidon Provincial Park is open, with some restrictions. The hiking trail at Cape Split Provincial Park Reserve is closed until further notice for safety reasons while plans are developed to clean up the debris.
