Motorcycle crash on Highway 6, Wallace, N.S.

Cumberland District RCMP is on the scene of a motor vehicle collision that occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m this afternoon on Highway 6.

Cumberland District RCMP responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a single driver/rider.

The motorcycle was traveling eastbound towards Wallace Bay on Hwy 6 when it left the roadway and came to rest on a residential lawn. The driver suffered serious injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.

Although the highway is not completely closed to traffic at this time, motorists traveling through the area can expect lengthy delays.
