Mounties looking for good samaritans who helped stabbing victim

From RCMP:
Members of the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation section are looking to speak to a couple who assisted a victim who was stabbed late Friday night on August 13, 2010.

On Friday, August 13, 2010 a 20-year-old male and friend were walking near Sir Robert Borden when two white males and a white female approached them.  An altercation took place where the suspects tried to rob the victim and he ended up being stabbed.   Before the victim was transported to hospital he was approached by a male and female couple in a dark colored pick-up truck.  The couple assisted the victim briefly with first aid but left the area prior to police arrival.   Police believe the couple may have some information that could assist with the investigation.  The couple are believed to be in their late teens or early 20's.  The truck they were driving was a dark smaller colored pick-up, with rivets or bolts on wheel wells, and a noticeable dent on the passenger side door and back panel.
