This is my 4th year doing Movember and if you know me at all, you know I’m a big supporter of this month and what it does.

Once again I’ve pledged to grow a moustache for 30 days to raise funds and awareness for men’s health. This year, we honour the great men who have grown before us and, as Movember and Sons, pay respect to the simple truth “knowledge is power, the moustache is king.”

At Just Fitness, we believe that your health goes beyond lifting weights and looking good.  It’s about taking care of yourself for a long and healthy life with diet, sleep, exercise, managing stress, getting an annual physical and being educated.

So because of this, we’ve started a Movember team for the gym and we’re running a few fun campaigns to help us raise more money. After a successful fundraising campaign for Breast Cancer awareness last month that raised almost $1,000, so now it’s time to step up and help raise some money and awareness for men’s health.

Also, just so you know, this isn’t just a month for men! We need the Mo Sistas to do their part too and help us spread the word and fundraise along with us. So ladies, please join our team too!

The Just Fitness Campaigns

For a lot of people November is now officially known as “Movember” and we at Just Fitness are on board.  But instead of just getting sexy and growing our Mos and showing them off in style, we are doing two fundraiser campaigns. “Burpees for Balls” and “Pull-Ups for the Prostate”.   Think you’re tough?  How many burpees can you do in 4 minutes?  Got what it takes to rip off some pull ups?  Donate $5 and find out.  We will have a cool Movember prize for each winner and all proceeds will go to our Movember team.

And remember, Movember isn’t just for Mo Bros, you Mo Sistas are a huge part of Movember too.  So JOIN OUR MOVEMBER TEAM and help us raise funds for men’s health awareness.

Burpees for Balls
It’s simple. Donate $5 and do as many full burpees, with the push-up and the jump, as you can in 90 seconds.  The person who completes the most full burpees in 90 seconds at the end of Movember will win a prize.  You can do as many attempts as possible until November 30th.

Pull-Ups for the Prostate
Just like Burpees for Balls, donate $5 and do as many full pull-ups as you can in 90 seconds.  No kipping allowed, just straight up and down pull-ups, with your chin up to the bar.  The person who completes the most full pull-ups in 90 seconds at the end of Movember will win a prize.  You can do as many attempts as possible until November 30th.

Modified Pull-Ups for the Prostate
Donate $5 and do as many modified pull-ups with the green band as you can in 90 seconds.  No kipping or feet on the ledge allowed, just straight up and down pull-ups, with your chin up to the bar.  The person who completes the most modified pull-ups in 90 seconds at the end of Movember will win a prize.  You can do as many attempts as possible until November 30th.
