Multiple vehicle col­lision sends five to hospital

Halifax District RCMP responded to a fou­r-vehicle collision on Sackville Dr. yes­terday at approximat­ely 3:30 p.m. Five of the 11 vehicle occ­upants were transpor­ted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. An RCMP collision analyst at­tended the scene and the road reopened prior to 10 p.m. last evening.

The investigation is ongoing to determine if charges are war­ranted under the Mot­or Vehicle Act.
