Multiple vehicles set ablaze

On May 19 at 12:45 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a suspicious fire located at a residence in the 0-100 block of Walker Street, Dartmouth. It was first reported that two vehicles were on fire. Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency responded along with police.

It was quickly determined that six vehicles were involved and damaged by fire. Four were parked in a residence and two on the roadway. No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire. Currently, the investigation leads investigators to believe the fire was deliberately set.

The suspect is described to police as a white man, approximately 6’ tall, who was wearing cargo shorts.

There was also a vehicle seen leaving the area that is thought to be related. It is described as an older model, dark colored Toyota Corolla.
