Municipal Rec Centres will Remain Closed Until Noon, Afternoon Programs Cancelled

Wednesday, March 18, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Due to the ongoing storm and poor road conditions at this time, all municipal recreation facilities, including municipally operated rinks and pools, will remain closed until at least noon and afternoon programs are cancelled.

Recreation staff will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions and reassess by 3 p.m. to make a decision regarding evening programs.

Once a decision is made, the public will be notified via a Public Service Announcement, on Twitter at @hfxgov and @hfxrec and on the municipal government website.
