The Otter Lake Waste Management Facility, the Halifax Recycling Facility and municipal composting facilities will be closed on Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 10, but will be open for regular hours on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The residential Household Special Waste (HSW) Depot located at 20 Horseshoe Lake Drive will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 8, and will re-open on Saturday, Oct. 15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note a mobile Household Special Waste drop off event will also be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Mic Mac Mall Lower Parking Lot, located at 21 Micmac Boulevard, Dartmouth.
