The Museum of Natural History will celebrate feline friends and Gus, everyone’s favorite gopher tortoise, this weekend with the return of Cat Fest.

Cat Fest pounces into the museum on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with fun events, crafts, exhibitors and more. There will be vendors, cat charities and a cat show. Visitors are encouraged to wear costumes and spend the day at the museum.

On Sunday, Aug. 7, the museum will celebrate Gus’s 94th birthday with his annual birthday bash. Head to the museum at 11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. for cupcakes, lemonade and well wishes. There will be a card to sign, fun events and door prizes.

The museum will also be sharing exhibition plans for 2017.
