Natural Gas Pipeline Installation – Bedford Highway

 

 

 

Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that beginning tomorrow (Friday) work will begin on extending the natural gas main on Bedford Highway between Main Avenue and civic # 50 Bedford Highway.

The pipe installation and subsequent restoration is expected to take approximately four weeks. Lane drops will be in place during construction. A lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times and no work will take place between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., or between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
