Natural Gas Pipeline Installation – Willett Street

Thursday, May 22, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that work will begin on Friday, May 23, to extend the natural gas main on Willett Street between Main Avenue and Coronation Avenue.

Thursday, May 22, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that work will begin on Friday, May 23, to extend the natural gas main on Willett Street between Main Avenue and Coronation Avenue.

The pipe installation and subsequent restoration is expected to take approximately three weeks. Stop-and-go traffic is expected during construction. Work crews will shut down daily between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
