Needs For Deeds on Christmas Day

On Christmas day 2012 a group of volunteers got together to spread kindness and compassion throughout downtown Halifax. 

The movement was initiated by Needs For Deeds, an organization with a mission to spread worldwide kindness. For every Needs For Deeds Token sponsored online, 1 meal will be provided to the Stop Hunger Now organization, where over 70 million meals have been packaged and served, along with other life saving aid to people in 76 countries around the world. 

On Christmas Day, volunteers gave out food, drink, roses and teddy bears to Haligonians throughout the city. This video was shot by Brad Rivers. The song is by Don Ross “From France to India
