New traffic lights operational at Kearney Lake/Larry Uteck intersection
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that new traffic lights are now fully operational at the Kearney Lake Road/Larry Uteck Boulevard intersection.
These new traffic lights are necessary to accommodate the current and expected increase in traffic due to new commercial and residential development in the area.
It should be noted motorists might experience delays in the area over the coming days as traffic control personnel adjust the timing of the lights to reflect traffic patterns. In the meantime, drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Residents are advised to exercise extra caution in the area as drivers become accustomed to the new traffic control measures.
