New Dartmouth Brewery, KEW expands

 

Still a slow time of year, but back to the regular weekly updates.If you look carefully, stores have their Easter stuff on shelves!

 

KEW furniture who have been open for a couple of years now, beside The Split Crow on Granville is opening a second location in Downtown Dartmouth on the corner of Portland & Wentworth.

Harold MacKay owned Down East Brewing (Brewery and Taproom) is opening where he built Brewdabakers and Maritime Brewery. Get Air now has most of the original warehouse space, but Down East will be in the front of the building, including the restaurant.

World Tea House in Sunnyside has close, the Halifax location will remain open, but they will be closed for a couple of weeks this month while they renovate their Argyle St. home.

Steele had a faux pas when they spelled Volkswagen wrong.

Silly people lined up for Boxing Day sales   It’s not the same since the Candian adoption of Black Friday.

Staggers and Jamieson’s both held their annual Christmas dinners where they provide a free meal to those who may be alone or not have the resources to make a big meal.
