New Eats, Juice Press and Bodega Grow


Juice Press has a new second location hiding behind Smiling Goat on South Park, for your raw fresh pressed juice needs.

The Dandelion Cafe on Blowers St where the Paperchase used to be, which just opened before Christmas seems to have already closed.

The Musquodoboit Valley Co-op has closed.

“The Highwayman” restaurant is opening across the street from Stillwell on Barrington St. where Certainly Cinnamon used to be.

Goodwill has opened a 2nd location, this one is just a Goodies bookstore and donation centre, the new spot is located beside Shoppers across from Mill Cove.

East Side Marios will be returning to Downtown Halifax, details to follow in the coming weeks.


Indochine on Barrington is now going to open Th-Fr till 8 and Saturday 2-8, they also now have beer. So I now know a good spot for a quick bite before a game.

Alberta chain “The Pint” who was planning to come here had a deal to move into the space above The Keg has fallen through, no word if they are looking for an alternative location.


Superstore has cauliflower on sale this week $2.50 a head, down from $8 the last few weeks.So if you like cauliflower this week may be your small window.
