A tender was awarded to Overland Custom Coach recently at a price tag of $1.35 million dollars for 10 buses. Overland manufactures motorcoaches for touring companies and schools, not the grade of vehicle used in the rest of Metro Transit’s fleet.
Amy Pugsley Fraser over a the Chronicle-Herald covers the story in detail, and writes:
