New traffic lights installed on Starboard Drive

Wednesday, July 6, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising resident and motorists that traffic lights are now operational at the new Starboard Drive/Peakview Way intersection.

These lights are necessary to accommodate the expected increase in traffic due to new commercial and residential development in the Larry Uteck area.

For the past week the lights have flashed amber for traffic driving through Starboard and red for traffic coming off Peakview Way.

The lights will be fully operational later today (Wednesday).

The municipality asks for extra caution in the area as motorists become accustomed to the new traffic control measures.
