The Nova Scotia Securities Commission has a new website that provides clear and concise information about Nova Scotia capital markets regulations.

“We’ve designed a user-friendly website to help educate and provide information to protect investors,” said Tanya Wiltshire, communications co-ordinator for the Nova Scotia Securities Commission.

“One important feature we’ve added is an online ‘Report a Scam’ form for people to submit complaints directly to us.”

The new design also features a search engine, hearings/events calendar and a quick links sidebar to easily navigate securities legislation. The Before You Invest blog on the homepage provides Nova Scotians with up-to-date industry information.

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is the provincial government agency responsible for regulating trading in securities in the province. To view the new website, visit http://nssc.gov.ns.ca .
