No injuries after man robbed on bus

At approximately 7:47 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery that had taken place on the MacDonald Bridge shuttle bus approximately 10 minutes earlier.  HRP met with the 18 year old victim who reported that as the suspects were exiting the bus on the Halifax side of the bridge, one of the suspects intimidated him into believing that he would be assaulted if he did not hand over the necklace he was wearing.  The victim handed over the necklace and the suspects fled the scene.  They were described as being: 1) as a black youth, 15-18 yrs old, 5’10-6’0 feet tall wearing orange Jordan sneakers and a grey hooded sweater; 2) The second man was described as having a muscular build and wearing a grey hooded sweater; 3) A woman described as a heavy set with wavy/curly hair, dressed in all black.

There were no injuries in this matter.  HRP patrol members arrested the 3 suspects in the 2000 block of Brunswick St, Halifax.  The three have been released from custody based on the wishes of the victim, however, the investigation is continuing.
