No injuries after motorist strikes pole while avoiding a racoon

Today at 11:35am Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of Pleasant St, Dartmouth.

A motorist attempted to avoid a racoon that was crossing the street and in doing so lost control and struck a power poll.

The power poll was broken in the accident.

There were no injuries resulting from the accident including the racoon.
