Nominations for Halifax-Armdale set

Last night Drew Moore was picked over Olga Milosevich for the NDP nomination in Halifax-Armdale. Drew quit his day job to begin a hip-hop centred youth engagement group called Concrete Roots. He and his wife run a website called The Local Traveler, which explores interesting places around the province. He’ll be going up against Spryfield lawyer Ryan Brennan, who has been named as the PC candidate. Both Drew and Ryan are quite young as MLAs go, and I’m interested to see how this will affect the campaign. The Liberal nomination meeting will be held April 30.
