The North End of Halifax has been a busy place for development this summer and it is in full swing this fall. There are 5 projects considered “Under Construction” with many others soon to begin.
The newest project to join the list is the Harris East Condos which began excavation this week. Below are some photo updates for 4 of the 5 sites.
3065 Robie St. (Corner of Robie and Demone). 1/2 of the first floor will be poured this week. They are still digging on the East side of the development.
Q Lofts, Maynard St. (Corner of Maynard & Roberts). Exterior work is progressing slowly and it seems a fair amount of interior work is yet to be completed. This project really slowed down after a slow start in condo sales.
2814 Isleville St (Corner of Isleville & Almon). This site is also prepping to pour the first floor of the underground parking. Based on how much progress has occurred here over the past few weeks, it is safe to assume this building will go up very quickly.
CFB Halifax Junior Ranks Residence (@ Fleet Club Rd). Work is busy on both sides of Barrington Street with the new shipbuilding mega structure on one side and this 15 floor development on the other. It is hard to get a good view at this project but it seems like the 1st floor has been poured.
