Hi ladies, how did your weekend go? I had one of those rare relaxing days for I don’t know how long. Overslept Saturday morning, so I missed gym and decided to stay in, as the weather wasn’t great. Sunday was sunny and warm, Squirt and I went out for some gelato. We went overboard with 2 large cups, so we skipped lunch and had light dinner 🙂

Since I didn’t do any shopping, no weekend find haul post. Since this coming Friday is Canada Day (yay, long weekend), I plan to feature Canadian brands on the blog for the week – stealing the idea from Jill at Battling a Lash 🙂

Up first is Joe Fresh, a brand that probably doesn’t need any further intro of. Their makeup is awesome, great price point, but I love their nail polish more. This is Hula, a shade from the Spring 3 group that was released recently. It is a pale pink but not too pale to make my hands look dead. This is truly a spring shade, no argument there 🙂

You probably heard me mentioned a few times that I sometimes went for more risky colours for work (darker shades or glitters). But any cases where I need a colour that is strictly work appropriate, Hula would be a good candidate.

I used 2 coats here, application was ok. Not a must have among shades on Joe Fresh shelves, but good to have. I hope more Canadian brands would jump into the nail polish market, we need more!

Another great news for us is that Canada Post is getting back to work after the bill has been passed over the weekend. I heard we can expect mail starting Tuesday, yay for that. I have a few packages in the mail that I can’t wait for them to get here. Have a great week!
